(November 26, 2011: Augusta, GA 30906) Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Butler Bulldogs (Augusta, GA) and the visiting Laney Wildcats (Augusta, GA), saw Butler's basketball squad gain a win over Laney by a tally of 73-60.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Rockdale County for a non-league battle on Friday, December 2. Butler will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 90-81 non-league loss to Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Glenn Hills (Augusta, GA). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Glenn Hills beat North Augusta (North Augusta, SC), 50-46, in a non-league battle.
