Florida High School Basketball - Baker County crushes Keystone Heights
(January 7, 2012: Glen St. Mary, FL 32040) Baker County Wildcats (Glen St. Mary, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Keystone Heights Indians (Keystone Heights, FL), 69-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Baker County upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Wildcats host Bishop Kenny (Jacksonville, FL) to play the Crusaders in a 5A District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 13-2. Bishop Kenny won 59-34 in their recent non-league bout against Fletcher (Neptune Beach, FL)
Next up, the Indians play the Fernandina Beach Pirates (Fernandina Beach, FL) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 13. Keystone Heights will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record. The Pirates enter the game with a 12-3 record after their 59-37 league win over Yulee (Yulee, FL).
