Pennsylvania High School Football - Sharon trounced by Wilmington Area

(October 3, 2008: New Wilmington, PA 16142) Wilmington Area Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team rout the visiting Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA), 42-7 in a league test.

With the win, Wilmington Area improves its record to 8-0 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Reynolds (Greenville, PA) to confront the Raiders in a District 10 Region 3 AA test on Friday, October 10. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 1-6. Reynolds lost 20-6 in their recent non-league test against Maplewood (Guys Mills, PA)

With the loss, Sharon moves to 6-1 on the season. The Tigers host Titusville (Titusville, PA) to confront the Rockets in a District 10 Region 3 AA test on Friday, October 10. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 2-4. Titusville lost 34-20 in their recent league test against Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA)
