(January 4, 2008: Ocala, FL 34481) West Port Wolf Pack (Ocala, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dunnellon Tigers (Dunnellon, FL), 74-60 in a league bout.

With the win, West Port upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Wolf Pack travel to Citrus (Inverness, FL) to play the Hurricanes in a 4A District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 8. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Citrus won 59-52 in their recent league bout against Crystal River (Crystal River, FL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL) in a 4A District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 8. Dunnellon will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 54-21 non-league loss to Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL).
