Utah High School Football - Lone Peak defeats Bingham

(September 29, 2011: South Jordan, UT 84095) In Thursday's league match, the visiting Lone Peak Knights football squad scored a good 45-24 victory over the Bingham Miners.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT) in a 5A Region 4 match, on Thursday, October 6. Lone Peak will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 41-0 league loss to Riverton (Riverton, UT).

The Miners (5-2) will now prepare for their match against American Fork (American Fork, UT). The Cavemen enter the 5A Region 4 match with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, American Fork defeated Lehi (Lehi, UT), 37-18, in a league bout.
