Nebraska High School Basketball - Banner County holds off Potter-Dix

(January 27, 2012: Harrisburg, NE 69345) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Banner County Wildcats (Harrisburg, NE) and the visiting Potter-Dix Coyotes (Potter, NE), saw Banner County's basketball squad hold off Potter-Dix by a count of 32-31.

With the victory, Banner County upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Morrill (Morrill, NE) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Morrill won 54-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Crawford (Crawford, NE)

Next up, the Coyotes play the Minatare Indians (Minatare, NE) in a D2 District 12 challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Potter-Dix will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 49-47 league loss to Leyton (Dalton, NE).
