With the win, Hempstead upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Bobcats host Brazos (Wallis, TX) to encounter the Cougars in a 2A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 17-6. Brazos won 44-41 in their recent league bout against Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX)

Next up, the Brahmas encounter the Rice Consolidated Raiders (Altair, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 28 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. East Bernard will attempt to upgrade on its 11-13 season record.
