Oregon High School Basketball - Pendleton overwhelms Hood River Valley
(January 30, 2012: Pendleton, OR 97801) Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Pendleton Buckaroos (Pendleton, OR) and the visiting Hood River Valley Eagles (Hood River, OR), saw Pendleton's basketball squad crush Hood River Valley by a margin of 84-60.
The Buckaroos (13-5) will now prepare for their test against The Dalles-Wahtonka (The Dalles, OR). The Indians-Eagles go into the 5A Columbia River test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, The Dalles-Wahtonka was trounced by Hermiston (Hermiston, OR), 58-43, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sherman for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Hood River Valley will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 74-41 league win over Dufur (Dufur, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 16-3.
