Nebraska High School Basketball - Dundy County crushes Hitchcock County USD

(January 10, 2012: Benkelman, NE 69021) Dundy County Tigers (Benkelman, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hitchcock County USD Falcons (Trenton, NE), 62-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Dundy County upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Medicine Valley lost 57-54 in their recent league bout against Hayes Center (Hayes Center, NE)

Next up, the Falcons play the Alma Cardinals (Alma, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Hitchcock County USD will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Cardinals enter the game with a 7-3 record after their 66-45 non-league win over Axtell (Axtell, NE).
