California High School Basketball - Westminster falls to Centennial

(December 16, 2011: Compton, CA 90222) The Centennial Apaches basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Westminster Lions to 38 in the Apaches non-league triumph on Friday.

The Apaches now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Pasadena for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Centennial will confront a Tigers team coming off a 36-34 non-league win over El Segundo (El Segundo, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.

The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against El Segundo (El Segundo, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, El Segundo was defeated by South Pasadena (South Pasadena, CA), 36-34, in a non-league contest.
