(January 18, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85004) Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Chandler Wolves (Chandler, AZ), saw St. Mary's's basketball squad hold off Chandler by a count of 67-64.

With the victory, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Knights host Camelback (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Spartans in a I Section I test on Friday, January 20. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 4-12. Camelback lost 55-27 in their recent league test against North (Phoenix, AZ)

The Wolves now own a 8-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Desert Vista for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Chandler will clash with a Thunder squad coming off a 59-49 league win over Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Thunder record now stands at 15-7.
