Florida High School Basketball - Wolfson holds off Columbia
(January 21, 2012: Lake City, FL 32025) Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Wolfson Wolfpack (Jacksonville, FL) and the host Columbia Tigers (Lake City, FL), saw Wolfson's basketball squad hold off Columbia by a score of 64-57.
With the victory, Wolfson improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Parker (Jacksonville, FL) to play the Braves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 14-4. Parker lost 59-51 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Kenny (Jacksonville, FL)
Next up, the Tigers play the St. Augustine Yellowjackets (St. Augustine, FL) in a 6A District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Columbia will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 16-6 record after their 64-47 non-league win over Nease (Ponte Vedra, FL).
