Tennessee High School Basketball - Middle Tennessee Heat succumbs to Smith County
(January 5, 2012: Carthage, TN 37030) The Smith County Owls were winner over the visiting Middle Tennessee Heat basketball team by a tally of 40-28 in Thursday's non-league contest.
The Owls now sport a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Gordonsville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Smith County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 41-30 league win over Friendship Christian (Lebanon, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 5-7.
The (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Red Boiling Springs (Red Boiling Springs, TN). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 6-14 record.
