Texas High School Basketball - Clyde overwhelms Cayuga

(December 28, 2011: Clyde, TX 79510) Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Clyde Bulldogs (Clyde, TX) and the visiting Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), saw Clyde's basketball squad trounce Cayuga by a score of 54-32.

With the victory, Clyde improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Cisco (Cisco, TX) to battle the Loboes in a 2A Region I District 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Loboes come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Cisco won 43-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Cayuga (Cayuga, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Mason Punchers (Mason, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Cayuga will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Punchers come into the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 56-23 non-league win over Hawley (Hawley, TX).
