Oregon High School Basketball - Scio nudges Regis
(February 7, 2012: Scio, OR 97374) Scio Loggers (Scio, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Regis Rams (Stayton, OR), 54-51 in a league bout.
With the win, Scio upgrades its record to 23-1 on the season. The Loggers travel to East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR) to encounter the Eagles in a 2A Tri-River bout on Friday, February 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-14. East Linn Christian Academy won 48-31 in their recent league bout against Central Linn (Halsey, OR)
Next up, the Rams encounter the Central Linn Cobras (Halsey, OR) in a 2A Tri-River bout, on Friday, February 10. Regis will attempt to upgrade on its 20-3 season record. The Cobras go into the bout with a 2-21 record after their 48-31 league loss to East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR).
