Texas High School Basketball - Guyer winner over Fossil Ridge
(January 10, 2012: Keller, TX 76248) The Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) basketball knocked off the host Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX), 51-35 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wildcats (20-5) will now prepare for their test against Carroll (Southlake, TX). The Dragons go into the 5A Region I District 7 test with a 22-2 record. In their last test, Carroll topped Saginaw (Saginaw, TX), 44-30, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 2-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to Keller for a 5A Region I District 7 test on Friday, January 13. Fossil Ridge will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 48-36 league win over Coppell (Coppell, TX). The Indians record now stands at 15-4.
