Jay Patriots (Hopewell Junction, NY) and the host
Poughkeepsie Pioneers (Poughkeepsie, NY), saw
Jay's football team prevail over
Poughkeepsie by a tally of
31-18.
The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their match against
Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY). The Admirals go into the
Section 1 AA - North test with a 0-4 record. In their last test,
Arlington was knocked off by
Yorktown Heights (Yorktown Heights, NY),
27-5, in a league test.
Next, the Pioneers clash with the
Jay Indians (Cross River, NY) in a
Section 1 AA - North test, on Saturday, October 7.
Poughkeepsie will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 3-1 record after their
13-7 league loss to
Carmel (Carmel, NY).
