About the Citizen Athlete Award
The MaxPreps Citizen Athlete Award is given to high school student athletes who are model citizens in all areas of life: community service, academics, athletics and school involvement. While they may not be the often-heralded MVP on their athletic team, they are MVPs in life... making a positive difference in all they do. This program is presented by the National Guard.
