Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA), 4-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Amador Valley moves its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Dons travel to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA) to play the Wolves in a East Bay battle on Wednesday, May 11. Amador completed their comeback win on an Aaron Hafford sacrifice fly to score Joey Moroney in the bottom of the 7th. The well played game included many exciting offensive and defensive executions.
