In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Dover Tornadoes (Dover, OH) baseball squad the host Orrville Red Riders (Orrville, OH), by a final score of 10-7.

ORRVILLE - An eight run 6th inning propelled the Tornadoes to a 10-7 win over Orville last night. Dover trailed 4-2 to begin the top of the sixth inning when Jordan Ravine drilled an RBI single to score Josh Zucal who had stolen second base to cut the lead to 4-3. Mason Mamarella, Taylor Koop, Logan Maholm, and Wes Baker then drilled consecutive RBI singles to account for the remainder of the runs.
Tyler Minnis, who came into the game in the third inning for starting pitcher Kyle Abel, earned the win in relief as Koop went 1 1/3 inning for the save.
Orrville was 14-6 going into the game and received the second seed in their sectional.
