The Northridge Grizzlies baseball team (Greeley, CO), was overwhelmed 13-3 in Thursday's league outing with the host Roosevelt Roughriders (Johnstown, CO)
The Roughriders now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northridge for a 4A Tri-Valley outing on Saturday, March 24. Roosevelt will face a Grizzlies team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Roosevelt (Johnstown, CO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-1.
Next, the Grizzlies face the Roosevelt Roughriders (Johnstown, CO) in a 4A Tri-Valley outing, on Saturday, March 24. Northridge will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Roughriders enter the outing with a 2-2 record after their 13-3 league win over Northridge (Greeley, CO).
Roosevelt did a good job on Thursday and hammered Northridge 13 - 3. In a tight game Northridge gave up 8 unearned runs in the bottom of the 5th to get 10 runed. Northridge had 8 hits with Jordan Francies going 2 for 3 with a double. Garrad Martinez was also 2 for 3 and Robert Fulton went 2 for 3 with a home run. Northridge and Roosevelt return to the diamond against each other on Saturday at 12:00pm in a rematch at Northridge.
