After the first inning Nathan shut down the Eagles and got stronger as the game went on. Thompson finished with 7 K's while giving up only 4 hits. Peterson gave up 5 hits, 3 walks and 2 hit batters. The big hitter on the day was Felipe Gonzalez for Santa Ynez, he was 3 for 3. Next up is a game at Lompoc next Tuesday. Both teams are 5-2 in league play. The Pirates are 16-4 overall.
