Teton overcame early home runs from South Fremont's Miles O'Donnell and Zach Trost to break a 3-3 5th inning tie to romp to a 14-3 victory in the second and deciding game of the conference championship series. In the Redskin 3rd inning Preston Hadfield cracked a two-run home run to tie the game at three. In the 5th inning Garrett Huff opened the barrage with a single. Twelve batters and seven runs later, Logan Petersen stroked a two-out pitch over the left field fence for a climatic grand slam home run. Eleven runs were scored as Teton sent 16 batters to the plate. Teton ended the game with 15 base hits. Hadfield had another 3-4 game with 4 rbi's to go with Petersen's 5 rbi's. Huff, Nate Park and Sean Riley each collected two base hits. Redskin starting pitcher Braiden Jorgensen fanned seven Cougar batters while allowing two bases on balls. Teton will play the district 3 champion next week in Ontario, Oregon at Treasure Valley Community College's field.

(May 7, 2012: St. Anthony, ID 83445) In Monday's non-league challenge, the Teton Redskins (Driggs, ID) baseball squad triumphed over the host South Fremont Cougars (St. Anthony, ID), by a final score of 14-3.
With the win, Teton upgrades its record to 17-5 on the season.
With the defeat, South Fremont falls to 12-8 on the season.
