The Danbury Hatters crushed the visiting Ludlowe Falcons baseball team by a count of 12-3 in Friday's league bout.
The Hatters now possess a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pomperaug for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 14. Danbury will face a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 league win over New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.
Next, the Falcons face the Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Monday, April 16. Ludlowe will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to McMahon (Norwalk, CT).
The Hatters pounded out 15 hits in a 12-3 win over Ludlowe. Javon Hernandez led the attack with a triple and two singles. Kenny Martinez, Antonio Martire, Justin Solimine, Josh Lopez, and Matt Sabene all added two hits. The Hatters now stand at 2-1 in the FCIAC and 2-4 overall.
