Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers Hawks (Washington, DC), 47-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fleming upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Colonels host Pulaski County (Dublin, VA) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 10. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Hawks encounter the Gar-Field Indians (Woodbridge, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 9. Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
