The Christ School Greenies basketball team won Saturday's neutral tournament game against Wilmington by a score of 71-53.
Game Details: National Hoops Classic
The Christ Greenies basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Wilmington Hurricane to 53 in the Greenies non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Greenies now sport a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Vincent-St. Mary for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 17. Christ will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 57-56 non-league loss to Cleveland Heights (Cleveland Heights, OH). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 6-3.
The Hurricane (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Miller Grove ran past Aiken (Cincinnati, OH), 69-48, in a non-league contest.
