The Waynesville Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Union Wildcats to 47 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Joplin for a non-league contest on Friday, February 5. Waynesville will meet a Eagles team coming off a 64-56 non-league win over Carl Junction (Carl Junction, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 15-4.
The Wildcats (1-17) will now prepare for their contest against New Haven (New Haven, MO). The Shamrocks enter the Four Rivers contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, New Haven ran past Christian (O'Fallon, MO), 46-45, in a non-league contest.
