Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV) and the visiting McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV), saw Douglas's basketball squad hold off McQueen by a score of 53-48.

With the victory, Douglas improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV) to battle the Miners in a Northern - Sierra challenge on Friday, January 7. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Bishop Manogue won 56-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Reno (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Lancers battle the Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) in a Northern - High Desert challenge, on Friday, January 7. McQueen will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 64-54 league win over Wooster (Reno, NV).
