California High School Basketball - Valencia nipped by Washington

The Washington Generals tipped the host Valencia Vikings basketball team by a final score of 65-62 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Generals face the Narbonne Gauchos (Harbor City, CA) in a Marine game, on Wednesday, January 12. Washington will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Gauchos enter the game with a 9-6 record after their 70-55 non-league win over Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA).

With the defeat, Valencia moves to 9-5 on the year. The Vikings travel to West Ranch (Valencia, CA) to face the Wildcats in a Foothill game on Tuesday, January 11. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 12-4. West Ranch lost 58-18 in their recent non-league battle against Price (Los Angeles, CA)
