The Raleigh Lions basketball team (Raleigh, MS), was overwhelmed 87-29 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Bay Springs Bulldogs (Bay Springs, MS)

The Bulldogs now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heidelberg for a non-league contest on Friday, December 23. Bay Springs will meet a Oilers team coming off a 65-53 league loss to Newton (Newton, MS). The Oilers record now stands at 4-4.

The Lions (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS). The Tartars enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record.
