The Brighton Bengals ran past the visiting Lehi Pioneers basketball team by a final score of 64-56 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Bengals face the Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 9. Brighton will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record.
With the defeat, Lehi moves to 1-1 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT) to face the Grizzlies in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 7. The Grizzlies enter the game with a record of 1-1. Copper Hills lost 54-47 in their recent non-league game against Herriman (West Herriman, UT)
Brighton got off to a quick lead as Lehi had trouble putting points on the board. Lehi played better late in the quarter and cut the lead to 5. The score at the end of the first period is Brighton 15 and Lehi 10.
