The Miami Stingarees tipped the visiting Dr. Phillips Panthers basketball team by a final score of 55-53 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Stingarees face the Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 20. Miami will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 7-1 record after their 75-34 league win over Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY).

With the defeat, Dr. Phillips moves to 8-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Bayside (Palm Bay, FL) to face the Bears in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 27. The Bears enter the game with a record of 5-4. Bayside lost 55-52 in their recent league game against Melbourne (Melbourne, FL)
