In Friday's non-league outing, the Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA) basketball squad beat the host Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas (North Bethesda, MD), by a count of 66-53.
The Cubs (11-0) will now prepare for their outing against Crespi (Encino, CA). The Celts go into the Mission outing with a 13-1 record. In their last outing, Crespi gained a win over Price (Los Angeles, CA), 69-64, in a non-league outing.
The Little Hoyas now hold a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Don Bosco Cristo Rey for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 3. Georgetown Prep will confront a Wolfpack team coming off a 61-46 non-league loss to James River (Midlothian, VA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-6.
