Mourning Sharks (North Miami, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hallandale Chargers (Hallandale, FL), 65-57 in a league bout.
With the win, Mourning upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Sharks host Westland Hialeah (Hialeah, FL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 14. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 3-4. Westland Hialeah lost 65-50 in their recent non-league game against Southridge (Miami, FL)
With the defeat, Hallandale moves to 1-5 on the year. The Chargers travel to Pompano Beach (Pompano Beach, FL) to face the Golden Tornadoes in a 5A District 16 challenge on Thursday, December 15. The Golden Tornadoes come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Pompano Beach lost 71-47 in their recent league challenge against Dillard (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
The Mourning Sharks basketball team won Tuesday's away conference game against Hallandale by a score of 65-57.
