The Knox Central Panthers basketball team lost Tuesday's home non-conference game against Harlan County by a score of 63-58.
Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Knox Central Panthers (Barbourville, KY), 63-58 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Harlan County upgrades its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Black Bears host Adair County (Columbia, KY) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 14-6. Adair County lost 67-55 in their recent league test against Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY)
The Panthers now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they host Leslie County for a non-league test on Thursday, January 26. Knox Central will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 73-32 league loss to Perry County Central (Hazard, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 5-7.
