The Lehi Pioneers basketball team lost Friday's home conference game against Lone Peak by a score of 63-50.

In Friday's league match, the visiting Lone Peak Knights basketball team scored a good 63-50 triumph over the Lehi Pioneers.
In their next game, the Knights face the Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT) in a 5A Region 4 match, on Friday, February 3. Lone Peak will attempt to move on its 14-2 season record. The Silverwolves enter the match with a 8-8 record after their 69-57 league win over Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT).
With the defeat, Lehi moves to 10-6 on the year. The Pioneers travel to American Fork (American Fork, UT) to face the Cavemen in a 5A Region 4 battle on Friday, February 3. The Cavemen come into the battle with a record of 13-2. American Fork won 60-42 in their recent league battle against Bingham (South Jordan, UT)
Lehi started off well and got out to an early lead. Lone Peak scored 15 points in the quarter while Lehi had 19. Colton Colledge led Lehi with 7 points while Nick Emery had 7 points also.
Lone Peak outscored Lehi 15 to 9 in the second quarter. Blake Cleveringa score all of Lehi's points in the period. Yhe score at the end of the first is Lone Peak 30 and Lehi 28.
Lone Peak increased the lead by 5 points in the third quarter and the score is Lone Peak 49 and Lehi 42 to begin the last quarter. Lehi had 5 player score in the quarter while Lone Peak had 7 points from both Nick Emery and TJ Haws.
Lone Peak scored 14 points in the final quarter to just 8 for Lehi. The final score is Lone Peak 63 and Lehi 50. Nick Emery led all scorers with 23 points while Blake Cleveringa had 22 for Lehi. Lone Peak shot only 3 foul shots in the game and made them all. Lehi went 4 for 9 from the line. Lehi was called for only 7 fouls in the game. Lone Peak committed 14.
