Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Maplewood Panthers (Nashville, TN) and the visiting Pearl-Cohn Firebirds (Nashville, TN), saw Maplewood's basketball squad trounce Pearl-Cohn by a score of 63-41.
With the victory, Maplewood improves its record to 18-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 27-2. The two Erics, Jason Stone and Stafford were key in finishing off the Firebirds. Stafford fed Eric Hall for a 3 pointer after Pearl started the quarter with the first four points. Stafford then fed Eric Darrett for a thunderous alley-oop dunk. Stone took over inside scoring 9 of his 15 total points.
