Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the San Marcos Knights (San Marcos, CA) and the host Vista Panthers (Vista, CA), witnessed San Marcos's basketball squad tip Vista by a margin of 64-61.

The Knights (16-5) will now prepare for their test against Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA). The Grizzlies go into the Avocado - East test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, Mission Hills got by Escondido (Escondido, CA), 58-45, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 16-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fallbrook for a Avocado - East test on Friday, January 27. Vista will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 62-52 league win over San Pasqual (Escondido, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 14-6.
