Texas High School Basketball - Dekaney trounces Spring

The Dekaney Wildcats (Houston, TX) basketball crushed the host Spring Lions (Spring, TX), 76-50 in Tuesday's league test.

The Wildcats (21-6) will now prepare for their test against Aldine (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region II District 16 test with a 2-21 record. In their last test, Aldine was trounced by Westfield (Houston, TX), 91-60, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 8-17 record. They play next when they travel to MacArthur for a 6A Region II District 16 test on Friday, February 3. Spring will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 100-60 league loss to Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX). The Generals record now stands at 5-15.
