Texas High School Basketball - Spring can't hold off Dekaney

The Dekaney Wildcats basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Spring Lions to 55 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aldine for a 6A Region II District 16 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Dekaney will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 77-47 league loss to Westfield (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-14.

The Lions (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against MacArthur (Houston, TX). The Generals enter the 6A Region II District 16 contest with a 4-9 record.
