The Denver South Rebels basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Pueblo East Eagles to 49 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rebels now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Family for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Denver South will battle a Tigers team coming off a 77-56 league win over Windsor (Windsor, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 9-3.
The Eagles (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Lewis-Palmer ran past Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO), 72-45, in a league contest.
