In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Fountain Valley Danes basketball team scored a decisive 51-18 triumph over the Edison Eagles.
In their next game, the Danes meet the Miami-Yoder Buffaloes (Rush, CO) in a 2A Black Forest match, on Thursday, January 12. Fountain Valley will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Buffaloes enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 69-46 non-league win over Edison (Yoder, CO).
With the defeat, Edison moves to 0-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Hanover (Colorado Springs, CO) to meet the Hornets in a 1A District 7 match on Friday, January 13. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 0-7. Hanover lost 51-10 in their recent non-league match against Colorado Springs School (Colorado Springs, CO)
