The Blaine Bengals basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Minneapolis South Tigers to 23 in the Bengals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bengals now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Champlin Park for a Northwest Suburban 1 contest on Monday, February 12. Blaine will battle a Rebels team coming off a 79-55 league win over Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 16-4.
The Tigers (10-13) will now prepare for their contest against Washburn (Minneapolis, MN). The Millers come into the Minneapolis City contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Washburn triumphed over Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN), 96-89, in a league contest.
