The Junction City Bluejays basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Topeka Trojans to 51 in the Bluejays league triumph on Friday.

The Bluejays now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland Park for a Centennial contest on Friday, February 2. Junction City will battle a Scots team coming off a 56-51 league loss to Topeka (Topeka, KS). The Scots record now stands at 5-7.

The Trojans (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Manhattan (Manhattan, KS). The Indians enter the Centennial contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Manhattan was nudged by Seaman (Topeka, KS), 56-50, in a league contest.
