The Webster County Highlanders basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders to 56 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Monday.
The Highlanders now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richwood for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Webster County will battle a Lumberjacks team coming off a 60-46 league loss to Summers County (Hinton, WV). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 1-19.
The Crusaders (15-9) will now prepare for their contest against Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV). The Irish enter the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Charleston Catholic nudged Sissonville (Charleston, WV), 66-53, in a non-league contest.
