The Gonzaga Eagles basketball team scored 94 points and held the host St. Mary's Ryken Knights to 65 in the Eagles league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop O'Connell for a VISAA Division 1 contest on Tuesday, February 5. Gonzaga will battle a Knights team coming off a 66-64 league loss to Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Knights record now stands at 17-6.
The Knights (7-16) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Lions enter the Washington Catholic contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Carroll was routed by Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA), 62-50, in a league contest.
