The Paramount Pirates football team (Paramount, CA), was beaten 41-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host Downey Vikings (Downey, CA)

The Vikings (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Dominguez (Compton, CA). The Dons come into the San Gabriel Valley challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Dominguez was beaten by Gahr (Cerritos, CA), 27-21, in a league challenge.

The Pirates now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren for a San Gabriel Valley challenge on Friday, October 30. Paramount will meet a Bears team coming off a 38-21 league win over Lynwood (Lynwood, CA). The Bears record now stands at 6-1.
