The St. Edward Eagles football team won Saturday's home non-conference game against Archbishop Moeller by a score of 42-27.
The St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH) football overcame the visiting Archbishop Moeller Fighting Crusaders (Cincinnati, OH), 42-27 in Saturday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the St. Ignatius Wildcats (Cleveland, OH) in a Freelance bout, on Saturday, October 29. St. Edward will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 7-2 record after their 14-12 non-league loss to St. Xavier (Cincinnati, OH).
The Fighting Crusaders now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league game on Friday, October 28. Archbishop Moeller will battle a Shamrocks team coming off a 49-0 league win over Male (Louisville, KY). The Shamrocks record now stands at 8-0.
