George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV), 39-29 in a league test.

With the triumph, George Washington improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV) to battle the Big Reds in a Mountain State test on Friday, November 4. The Big Reds come into the test with a record of 6-2.

With the loss, Capital drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Wilson (Beckley, WV) to battle the Flying Eagles in a Mountain State test on Friday, October 28.
