The McDonogh Eagles football team lost Saturday's home conference game against rival school Gilman by a score of 31-21.
The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Gilman Greyhounds (Baltimore, MD) and the host McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), observed Gilman's football squad defeat McDonogh by a count of 31-21.
The Greyhounds now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Archbishop Spalding for a non-league contest on Friday, November 11. Gilman will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 20-14 league win over Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-3.
Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Calvert Hall Cardinals (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 11. McDonogh will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 26-7 league win over Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD).
